The rules for using Backlogr’s website and mobile apps.
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Backlogr, including backlogr.store and our mobile applications (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using Backlogr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Related policy: Privacy Policy.
Backlogr is operated at backlogr.store. Support: support@backlogr.store. General: hello@backlogr.store.
Backlogr helps you focus on one active idea at a time with plans, daily tasks, check-ins, and related tools. Features may change as we improve the product. We may add, modify, or remove features with reasonable notice when practical.
Backlogr is a productivity tool. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice, and it does not guarantee that you will finish a project or achieve any particular business or personal outcome.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Backlogr. If you use Backlogr on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.
Some features require a paid subscription. Current pricing and trial length (if any) are shown at signup or checkout. As of these Terms, Backlogr offers a 14-day free trial, then a recurring monthly fee billed through Stripe (currently USD 15.99 / month unless we publish a different price at checkout).
You retain ownership of the ideas, notes, tasks, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service — including sending necessary parts of Your Content to AI providers so we can generate or adjust plans and related features you request.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.
Plans and related suggestions may be generated with third-party AI services. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. You remain responsible for reviewing output and for decisions you make. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information you are not comfortable processing as described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice when we reasonably believe urgent action is needed.
Backlogr, including software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as allowed by these Terms while your account is in good standing.
The Service depends on third parties (for example Stripe, hosting, email, and AI providers). Their terms and availability are outside our full control. App Store and Google Play have additional terms that apply when you download or buy through them.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results from following a plan will meet your expectations.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF GREATER, £50).
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses arising from Your Content or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by law.
You may stop using Backlogr and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by nature should survive (including ownership, AI disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.
We may update these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date and post the new version at backlogr.store/terms. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in another country you may also have mandatory rights in your home courts.
