Finish before you start

Founders love the first 20% of a project: naming, architecture sketches, a weekend prototype that demos well to friends.

The last 20% is where customers live. Onboarding copy. Billing. Edge cases. The thing that makes someone pay or leave.

The unfinished tax

Every open project rents space in your head. You pay interest in dread, not cash. That interest compounds until you avoid opening the laptop.

A weekly close ritual

Ask once a week:

If the answer to both is “nothing,” you are collecting starts, not finishes.

Backlogr’s plan tasks are deliberately small so the last 20% shows up as checklist items, not a vague “finish the app someday.”
